Education
Gini is a member of the Litigation team at Lombardo & Gilles, where she specializes in real property matters such as boundary and easement disputes, partition actions, failure to disclose cases, and a wide variety of other complex matters related to real property. She is also actively involved in insurance coverage matters.
Gini's legal career and experience also includes drafting key legislation while working for a Senator in the California State Legislature, working on habeas corpus petitions as a judicial intern for the U.S. Magistrate in the 10th Circuit, Western District of Oklahoma, and most recently, serving as a lecturer for Lorman's Education Services on easement law in California, addressing the litigation of easement disputes and methods to resolve these divisive cases.
Gini started her legal career in 1995, when she, prior to coming to Lombardo & Gilles, principally practiced first- and third-party insurance defense including defense of bad faith actions. During that time, she prepared numerous insurance coverage opinions on a variety of policies and issues, including product liability matters.
Gini received her Juris Doctorate with distinction in 1995 from McGeorge School of Law, University of the Pacific. Prior to law school, she received a Bachelor of Arts Communications Degree from the University of California at Santa Barbara. In addition, Gini is an adjunct political science instructor at Hartnell College, a member of the board of directors for the Lyceum of Monterey County and a coach for the Alisal High School Mock Trial Team.
Gini enjoys spending time in the gym, playing tennis and walking.
She is a member of the State Bar of California, Monterey County Bar Association and the Defense Research Institute.
