He joined Lombardo <br /> & Gilles last year. He has practiced in the area since 1987, and previously worked for firms based in San Jose, Monterey, Scotts Valley and Danville, as well as 6 years as a sole practitioner in Aptos. We count on Ken's managerial skills to coordinate the wide array of contested matters that Lombardo & Gilles handles. </p> <p class="plaintext"> Ken's work includes all aspects of cases from initial meetings with clients and case evaluations through discovery /investigation and trial. During his 25 years of practice, he has handled dozens of trials as well as hundreds of mediations, arbitrations and settlement conferences. His extensive experience and knowledge of the ins and outs of courtrooms help make litigation as efficient and effective as possible. </p> <p class="plaintext"> Ken's areas of practice include land use, real estate and business litigation, construction defects, major personal injuries, criminal defense and missing persons. </p> <p class="plaintext"> Ken is widely respected by his peers as a tough and thorough litigator with excellent presentation skills. He is a member of several professional associations including the American Trial Lawyer's Association, the Association of Northern California Defense Counsel, and the bar associations of Monterey and Santa Cruz Counties. </p> <p class="plaintext"> Ken graduated <em>cum laude</em> from Santa Clara University Law School in 1981, after receiving his BA in communications from Stanford University in 1978. </p> <p class="plaintext"> Ken has coached competitive gymnastics since 1974.
